What HiDHT does
HiDHT helps IPFS users, Web3 developers, storage operators, and support teams understand whether a CID appears discoverable and retrievable through common public paths.
A check validates the CID, queries delegated routing/provider endpoints, probes configured public gateways, and returns a compact result page with provider counts, gateway status, latency, content type, cache state, and troubleshooting notes.

What HiDHT does not do
HiDHT is not a BitTorrent search engine, public content index, gateway, pinning service, or full DHT crawler.
The service reports availability metadata only. It does not display, proxy, store, iframe, or download user-submitted IPFS content.

Product direction
The current MVP focuses on manual CID checks and monitoring interest. If repeated usage validates demand, HiDHT may add scheduled monitoring, email alerts, webhook alerts, history, and public status badges.
