Terms

Terms

HiDHT provides IPFS availability metadata on a best-effort basis for technical diagnostics.

01

Service scope

HiDHT provides technical availability checks for IPFS CIDs. Results may include CID validation, routing provider summaries, gateway probe status, timing information, cache indicators, and troubleshooting notes.

HiDHT does not provide hosted IPFS pinning, content delivery, content preview, wallet authentication, or guaranteed retrieval.

02

Best-effort results

Results from public gateways and routing endpoints may be incomplete, delayed, rate limited, unavailable, or different across providers.

A failed public gateway response does not prove that content is permanently unavailable, and a successful response does not guarantee future availability.

03

Acceptable use

Use HiDHT only for technical diagnostics and operational troubleshooting.

Do not use HiDHT to distribute, preview, retrieve, promote, or request illegal, harmful, infringing, abusive, or malicious content. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, overload upstream services, or use automated traffic in a way that degrades the service.

04

No content hosting

HiDHT does not host or control IPFS content identified by user-submitted CIDs. The service only records and displays metadata produced by availability checks.

If a CID points to content controlled by another party, requests or disputes about that content should be directed to the relevant host, gateway, pinning provider, or publisher.

05

Changes and contact

HiDHT may change features, limits, providers, gateway targets, or terms as the product evolves from MVP validation toward monitoring features.
